1 year daygame anniversary

Xants Diary 1 Comment

Today is my 1 year anniversary since my first game lay on the 1st of May 2015, a pretty average night game lay with an American student, last night I managed to book end the year by getting a +1 with a cute Japanese girl on the 2nd date, banishing my 2nd date hoodoo in the process. So how’s my first year getting laid in game been?

The Good

16 lays – 10 from Daygame – 5 from night game – 1 from long game – 0 from online game – if you’d told me that at the start I’d have snatched your arm off

Quality girls –  There’s been some grott lays and one that I would unfuck if I could but overall the quality has been good and there’s been some real YHT quality mixed in there including a few 8’s, an 18 year old and a 19 year old

Eurojaunts – I never used to get travelling before but I’ve finally found something worth travelling for

Wings – Far from a bunch of complete losers I’ve actually found a great bunch of mates

The Bad

16 lays – yes if you’d told me I’d get 16 lays over the course of the year at the start of the process I have ripped your arm off but if you’d told me I’d only be on 16 lays at the end of the year back in August when I was averaging 2 a month I’d have been disappointed. I’d stated a goal of 20 by this date as recently as January however I’d not taken into account how miserable daygame can be in winter.

The Ugly

My John Galt plan failed, I lost most of my savings in the process and had to find gainful employment again and will have to take normal holidays instead of spending 3 months travelling around Europe. That said if you don’t try you won’t succeed.

Anybody thinking about getting into game I’d say i don’t underestimate the amount of time and effort you’ll have to put in. I’d guess I’ve opened 1,500 sets in that time giving me a measly 1% success rate, my opens to lays has only started to come down recently and I’ve probably walked 200 miles but all in all it’s been worth it.
